signage in the home

I've been noticing a lot of signage in homes lately - everything from old railway or street signs to graphic lettering looking great up on our walls and mantelpieces. When car boot season starts up again very soon signs for the home will be top of my list of things to watch out for!

yesterday I happened to be in ikea and took a few shots of their lovely embroidered pillow cases

a new addition to the family

she's 4 years old and arrived last week... it's so nice to have a doggy in the house again as we lost our previous chocolate labrador 18 months ago

p.s. i'm sure i'll be adding more photos of her around the house - and on the furniture!

Samantha Robinson

Samantha Robinson's handmade porcelain items are so pretty - I wish I could just pop over to Sydney and buy some! She studied ceramics at the National Art School in Sydney and now sells her work through her Bondi shop, Tea Petal.

Mum has had my paintings printed onto canvas and stretched over frames, just like the real thing! I think they look great. So now we both have the same paintings hanging in our homes on opposite sides of the world!

Spring has finally arrived! Although it's still freezing cold, at least the sun is shining!! The blossoms will be out soon - hooray!
